Richard Crust Obituary, Death – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard Gerald Crust, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Richard, aged 63, passed away peacefully on [Date], leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Richard was born on April 16, 1960, in Howard, PA, to his parents Gerald and Sarah Davy Crust. He spent his formative years in the close-knit community of Howard, where he attended Bellefonte High School and graduated in 1979.

A Life Well Lived: Richard had a zest for life and a passion for the outdoors. He found solace and joy in activities such as hunting, fishing, and camping. On November 22, 1997, he married his soulmate, Belinda McCloskey, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, traveling to 35 states and 3 countries, creating cherished memories along the way. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation from 5-7 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Singer Kader Neff Funeral Home in Howard.

Career and Family: Richard was a dedicated employee of Bull Rogers Casing in Hobbs, NM, until he faced health challenges that led him to return home to Pennsylvania. Despite the difficulties he encountered, Richard remained a pillar of strength for his family. He was a loving husband to Belinda and a devoted father to his three sons, Gerald, Shawn, and Zachery, and his three daughters, April, Samantha, and Skyler. His pride and joy extended to his five grandchildren, who brought immense happiness into his life.

Fondly Remembered: Richard’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Sarah, and his brothers John and George. He is survived by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, and siblings: Robert (Missy), Glen, Scott (Pennie), and Katheryn (Jess). He will also be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law, Laura Mayes, and his lifelong partners in crime, Jamie Kitner and Chad Kitner, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

¬†Celebration of Life: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Singer-Kader-Neff Funeral Home in Howard, honoring Richard’s memory and legacy of love. Richard Gerald Crust will be dearly missed but never forgotten. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the funeral home.
