Noel Hinde Obituary, Death – We are saddened to share the news of Noel Jane Greenhill Hinde’s passing. A cherished mother, grandmother, and beloved member of her community, Noel’s journey touched the lives of many. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Noel is survived by her loving children, Lee and Laurie, as well as her cherished grandchildren and extended family.

A Life Well-Lived: Born on March 2, 1935, in Chicago, Noel was the daughter of Douglas Champagne and Dorothy (Dougherty) Greenhill. Raised in Hinsdale, IL, she pursued her education with determination, graduating from Bowling Green State University in June of 1955. In August 1955, Noel embarked on a lifelong journey with her beloved husband, Donald T. Hinde, whom she married in Bowling Green. Together, they built a family and shared countless cherished memories.

A Legacy of Love and Service: Noel’s life was marked by her unwavering commitment to service and community. From her role as Play Reviewer for the Bowling Green Sentinel Tribune to her work as a Social Worker with the Wood County Welfare Department, she touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. In addition to her professional endeavors, Noel found joy in her roles as advertising manager for Jones Brand & Hullin (Coldwell Banker) and Kiernan Realtors. Her dedication and passion left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Honoring Her Memory: In honor of Noel’s life and legacy, the family has decided on a private inurnment in Huron, Ohio, and Phillips, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, contributions to organizations close to her heart, such as the Sacramento Public Library, the SPCA, the Renaissance Scholarship Fund at Sacramento State, or the Merry-Go-Round Museum in Sandusky, Ohio, would be greatly appreciated. As we bid farewell to Noel Jane Greenhill Hinde, we take solace in the memories we shared and the impact she made during her time with us. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
