Evangelia Baroutas Obituary, Death – It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Evangelia Baroutas, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. Her departure from this world on Monday, 4th March 2024, has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled. The funeral service will take place at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, situated at 180 Coward St Mascot, on Monday, 11th March 2024, starting at 10:30 am.

Remembering Her Life: Evangelia Baroutas led a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family and community. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Whether it was through her delicious homemade meals or her comforting embrace, she made everyone feel welcomed and cherished. Following the service, a committal ceremony will be held at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, located at 12 Military Rd Matraville.

Final Farewell: The viewing to honor Evangelia’s life will be held at Acropolis Funerals, located at 120-122 Gardeners Rd Kingsford, on Sunday, 10th March 2024, commencing at 6:00 pm. It will serve as an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects and share fond memories of Evangelia. In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted at the church for the “Saint Elesa Food Initiative.” This charitable cause was dear to Evangelia’s heart, reflecting her compassion for those in need and her desire to make a positive impact in the community.
