Harold Walker Obituary, Death – Harold Keith Walker, affectionately known as Keith, was born on February 21, 1951, in Boyd County, Kentucky. He grew up in Olive Hill and attended Olive Hill High School, where he laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to education. After graduating, Keith pursued higher education at Morehead State University, where he further honed his skills and knowledge.

 Dedication to Education and Hard Work
Throughout his life, Keith exemplified the values of hard work and dedication. He dedicated a total of 42 years to the field of education, serving as a principal for 29 years at the Carter County Career and Technical Center, and teaching math at both Carter and Greenup County Vocational School. His passion for education extended beyond the classroom, as he spent ten years at Morehead State University as the KY AHEAD Grant Director, contributing to the educational advancement of countless students.

Contributions to the Community
In addition to his career in education, Keith was a pillar of his community. He was the owner of Country Estate Fence of Kentucky for over 25 years and served on the FIVCO board for 17 years. As a lifelong farmer, he understood the importance of hard work and perseverance in both his personal and professional endeavors.

 Legacy of Love and Family
Above all else, Keith cherished his family. He shared 45 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Debra Fannin Walker, and together they raised two children, Bradley and Clerrinda. Keith was a loving grandfather to his four grandchildren, Brance, Nolan, Caroline, and Blaire, who brought him immense joy and happiness. He was actively involved in his church community, serving as Sunday School superintendent and deacon at First Christian Church of Olive Hill for many years.

On Thursday evening, February 29, Harold Keith Walker passed away at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched throughout his remarkable life. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 4, 2024, at First Christian Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Harold Keith Walker, a man who lived with purpose and passion until the very end.
